TUNE UP KITS
TUK kits include parts for one unit: gasket set, piston ring set, oil seal, filter element, check valve seat and spring, insert bearings, valve disc and springs. Kits for 332, 335 and 452 include include unloader springs. Kits for 352 and 462 include disc locating pins, unloader plunger assembly and unloader springs.

A---Contains both old and new style valve springs.
N---Contains new style valve spring.
S---Contains steel oil rings-see below.
U---Contains .020 undersize bearings.
NS--Contains new style valve springs, steel oil rings,
NSU-Contains new style valve springs, steel oil rings, .020 undersize bearings.
NU--Contains new style valve springs, .020 undersize bearings.
SU-Contains steel oil rings, .020 undersize bearings.
S---Steel rings used successfully on units that oil pumping has not been corrected with standard rings.

Sometime in the early 1970's, K-A changed the internals of the valves used in the 352 & 462 low pressure and 360 & K25 high pressure valves.  There is NO serial number reference for this change.

The internals (except DISC) are not interchangeable, so you must be careful to order the correct overhaul kit! The complete valves are the same size so that current valves can be used to replace old style valves. The valve part numbers did not change.

Head Overhaul Kits
Kits have been assembled with all necessary gaskets, O-Rings, valve disc & springs, check valve seat & spring, and filter to recondition one compressor. Kits for 332, 335, and 452 include unloader springs. Kits for 352 and 462 include disc locating pins, unloader plunger assembly and unloader springs. VSHOK's include complete replacement valves in place of valve wear parts.
